An AI paper reader for translating, discussing, and annotating research papers, with contextual figure explanations and related-work search.

Reading papers with context

README-AI was a collaborative startup project. I contributed to the product design and development of an AI paper reader that lets users upload a PDF, translate it paragraph by paragraph, ask questions about its contents, and save important material as notes.

My contribution

I focused on figure interpretation and extended search. These features use the surrounding paper context to explain charts and technical concepts, and retrieve related papers and web resources to support further reading.
